What is PRP
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. Plasma, an essential component of the human body, functions as a carrier for blood cells. It comprises water, enzymes, proteins, growth factors, and antibodies.
Platelets, produced in the bone marrow, play a crucial role in wound healing and injury recuperation.
OK, but how can PRP benefit me?
Well, in aesthetics, PRP is used to to stimulate collagen production, regeneration of tissue and even to stimulate hair growth. This means if you are looking for a natural treatment to rejuvenate your skin, to improve your skin tone and texture, to improve the appearance of scars or to stimulate hair growth, PRP is a great treatment for you as it uses your own blood's plasma, so the risk of any allergic reaction is practically zero.
The benefits in more details:
Collagen Production: It stimulates the production of collagen, a protein that provides structural support to the skin. Collagen helps improve skin elasticity and firmness.
Reduced Wrinkles and Fine Lines: The increase in collagen production can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, leading to smoother and more youthful-looking skin.
Scar Reduction: Improves the appearance of scars, including acne scars and surgical scars. The procedure promotes the remodeling of scar tissue, making scars less noticeable.
Improved Skin Texture: The micro-injuries created during the treatment encourages the turnover of skin cells, resulting in improved overall skin texture and a more even complexion.
Minimized Pore Size: Can reduce the size of enlarged pores by stimulating collagen production and tightening the surrounding skin.
Treatment of Stretch Marks: Can improve the appearance of stretch marks by promoting collagen formation and skin regeneration in the affected areas.
Stimulates Hair Growth: PRP contains concentrated platelets that release growth factors and bioactive proteins when activated. These growth factors promote tissue repair, cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and collagen production. PRP also stimulates hair follicle stem cells, potentially leading to hair follicle regeneration and growth. Activated platelets enhance blood flow to the treated area, delivering nutrients and oxygen to the hair follicles for healthier hair growth.
Why is PRP at iNurture different?
At iNurture, our focus is on achieving exceptional results and making a positive impact on the lives of our clients. We strive to optimize our treatments to provide the best possible outcomes.
In addition to the techniques of Mesotherapy and Nappage commonly used in a standard PRP treatment, we incorporate Microneedling therapy to enhance the results. Furthermore, we offer LED Red light therapy at the end of each treatment session to further enhance the absorption of plasma into the skin, improving the overall efficacy of the treatment. Additionally, our PRP facial includes the treatment of the neck area at no additional cost, as we believe in providing comprehensive care and addressing all areas that can contribute to the appearance of age.
How can I make the most of my session?
If you are planning to invest in a treatment that utilizes your own blood, it may be beneficial to make additional efforts leading up to the treatment. By following these recommendations, you can optimize the quality of your blood on the day of the treatment:

Eat dark, leafy, green vegetables
Increase your iron and vitamin B intake. It is recommended that you consider receiving a B-complex vitamin injection a week prior to your treatment.

How does it work? PRP has no down time. During this procedure, the practitioner will withdraw a small tube of blood from your arm and process it to prepare your plasma ready for the treatment. The entire treatment takes about 1.5 hours
